Situated on the migratory path of the Monarch butterfly, renovation to the museum’s southwestern gardens provides welcome habitat for monarchs and other Texas pollinators. New retaining walls, irrigation system, concealed control box, walkways, and handrails invite travelers to enjoy South Texas’ natural and historic charm.
